The HUDlite client will allow you to monitor your SIP phones from one convenient user panel. You can use drag and drop call transfers, click to record calls, etc.
HUDlite is designed to run on Windows, Mac OSX , and Linux. You need to download the HUDlite client for your operation system. HUDlite clients can be downloaded from hudlite.org
Click on the file you downloaded to start the install. If you do not have JAVA on your system JAVA will be installed for you. Click OK to install JAVA.
Once the system is installed click ok to auto run HUDlite client. Accept the user license. Next you need to enter you HUD user name and password. You can get the user name from the HUDlite admin panel. If your extension is 200 you username will be sip200. Your password will be set to eight random character by default. This can be changed in the HUDlite admin.
Next enter the server name, server password, and server port.
Server Name is the IP address of your trixbox.
Server password is 'password'
Server port is 6600
If you have Microsoft Outlook click install to allow HUDlite to use you contact list for callerID and to setup Click to Dial in Outlook. Then click install to install the TAPI driver. This will allow you to click to dial through any TAPI enabled application.
HUDlite is now installed. You should be able to see all your extension in the HUD window.
